Astrology is a sacred language of symbols and metaphors that connects heaven with earth. Each sign and planetary energy expresses a power reflecting as Seena Frost shares “the mystery of The One and the Many”. Think in terms of layers and cycles. It takes time for things to manifest.
Astrology is about actively working with these cycles, finding and knowing your own rhythm.Through SoulCollage® we can tap into these sky archetypes that can add another dimension to the Great Work.
Each month readers at the New Moon Journal are creating collages representing the energy (archetypes) of astrology and by years end you'll have twelve SoulCollage® cards to work with, journey to for guidance.
You are invited to merge with the lunar energies and the SoulCollage® process in what I call place and space, chart and change.
You may be inspired to create a separate suit for the New Moon SoulCollage® challenges. And as you start to track the energies at play it is my hope you'll share your journey and cards, I'd love to hear what is unfolding.
Know too that it is not necessary for you to have a working knowledge of astrology. All you need to bring is your openness to the information presented- your heart's desire creates the container for the experience to unfold magically in a deeply sacred way.
We are simply acknowledging “the magic of the moment and the mystery of you found in bits of paper and glue through the New Moon SoulCollage® process”.

How to create a SoulCollage® card for this month's energy...
First don't make this too complicated - all you need are a few magazines, a glue stick and a sheet of 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper or poster board. Read the statement for the month's energies and then find images that 'call' to you. A story will unfold.
Before you start, you may want to create a sacred space, gather your materials around you. Light a candle, play music. Turn off the phones and try to limit your distractions. Connect with that intuitive part of you who knows about these sacred energies.
Shamanic Journey- for those who know how to journey, go you to Helping Ally and ask about this month's energy related to your own birth chart. Upon return...
Find and cut out images that represent the energy of the month, your journey, glue those images on the paper. Trust your intuition.
Try not to use words, just pictures you cut from magazines, the images will start to speak to you...listen.
You may create your collage digitally. Whatever medium seems right for you.
Send your New Moon SoulCollage to Michele: After you complete your collage scan it and upload your collage image by the date specified. If you want to share a bit about the process and what you discovered…great!
What I am offering: I am creating a gallery of these collage images readers submit. When I list your collage if you have a blog or a website, I'll link your collage back to your blog/website.
In the upcoming article on the New Moon I'll write about this creative experience. From the collages submitted I may pick one collage and talk about the astrology of it all relative to the New Moon energies and your chart. If your collage is selected I'll look at your chart and collage and talk about what I see happening.
Remember you don't have to know about astrology to work with these concepts or be an artist. Just play with it.
The image you create may be related to a new project you are creating, it may be personal, it may be for business. Usually it’s a combination of both. What surprised you? Would you like to share?
